Annual Christmas Comedy and Cocoa Theatre
|

Written by Anne Levy
Two hilarious one act Christmas plays designed for both adults and children; Marley Returns and Who Stole the Stockings Hung by the Chimney with Care? joined together with a cocoa break. What could be better?
The shows, written by Phire Phlies director Anne Levy, are based on the classic Christmas story A Christmas Carol, and the traditional Christmas poem T'Was The Night Before Christmas, with hilarious twists.
Marley Returns
Marley finds that his yearly ghostly visit now means dealing with Evie Neezer-Scrooge, the old curmudgeon's great granddaughter who is not happy that he is interrupting her video game or that he's trying to change people without a Twelve Step Program.
Who Stole the Stockings Hung by the Chimney With Care?
Not only are the mice stirring, they're stealing props and the old saying "throwing up the sash" takes on a whole new meaning. Chaos breaks out on the stage as the narrator tries vainly to read the much-loved holiday poem to the audience.
